- TAP device is indicated in patients suffering Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome (OSAS) also known as Sleep Apnoea- Hypopnoea Syndrome (SAHS). TAP is also used to treat snoring. Oral appliances are usually indicated in patients with mild to moderate OSAS who prefer Oral Appliances that CPAP, or who do not respond to this treatment, are not appropriate candidates, or who fail treatment attempts with CPAP.
