- Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause of cancer death for men and women, after lung cancer and breast cancer respectively. According to recommendations of the American Cancer Society, everyone aged 50 and over should be screened regularly for colorectal cancer, however less than 40% of that people undergo screening.
