Memorandum of Understanding between EuroScan and INAHTA signed in Dublin

A Memoranum of Understanding (MOU) outlining a partnership between The International Network of Agencies for Health Technology Assessment (INAHTA) and EuroScan International Network was signed at the INAHTA annual meeting in Dublin, Ireland on 9th June 2010.

Both agencies share a common purpose: promoting the introduction and diffusion of safe, effective, and cost-efficient health care technologies around the world. INAHTA achieves this goal through the promotion of Health Technology Assessment (HTA); EuroScan follows the promotion and diffusion of Early Awareness and Alert Systems on new and emerging technologies.

The MOU signed by Dr. Iñaki Gutiérrez Ibarluzea (Chair of EuroScan) and Professor Marjukka Mäkelä (Chair of INAHTA) outlines co-operative efforts to strengthen links between the agencies and improve the dissemination of scientific information.
